Shadows of Death

There's a cemetery in Middlebury, Connecticut, that I pass every day on my way to and from work. I keep thinking there is an incredible shot in there. Someday, I'll get it.

In the meantime, all the blue sky in the background means I can call this a Skywatch Friday post.

  1. I think that's a pretty incredible shot. Wonderful shadows, and so interesting how all the headstones are tipped and various angles.

  2. Interesting picture so far. Even though the grass is brown it looks well cared for. I'm afraid to go back to my grandparent's family plot. I hear it is in disarray. - Margy

  3. I'm so glad that you finally got 'the' shot! It certainly is worth your time to stop.

    1. Not so sure that is the shot. Maybe I'll have to repeat it when the grass is green and there are leave on the trees. And maybe in the fall. Maybe that will seal the deal.

  4. I have mental lists of photos I want/need/plan to get one day! Some that I see every day, like this one is for you! This one sure isn’t bad in the meantime!
