Suitcase Trouble


Part 2

Having convinced the police that he had nothing to do with the clothes he had found on a nearby dumpster this morning, Roy left the office, heading down the stairs and out through the alley exit.

As soon as he turned after making sure the door had closed behind him, he saw the suitcase. "Now what?" he said aloud.

The brown fabric bag lay flat, it's zipper side facing down, it's handle extended. Because he hadn't learned a lesson from his earlier adventure, he inched closer, intent on getting a better look.

Shocked, he gasped quite audibly. And then he wretched.
