With a tear, she turned and walked away.

He stared after her, wondering what just happened, and why. She was crying harder, her chest heaving, as she left the park.

He took the path that ran parallel to the sidewalk. Wiping away his own tears, he watched her. What's going on here, really? There's more to this.

The path jogged left. He quickened his pace to catch her. He was about to pop out when she crashed into the arms of another woman, who kissed her hard, and then said, "You're all mine now. Let's get you out of here."
