Oliver Potsch Edition

A few years ago, I discovered a German writer by the name of Oliver Potzsch. On a whim, I purchased the inexpensive Hangman's Daughter, and the even less expensive audio book, narrated by Grover Gardner. Potzsch is a descendant of a descendant of the Kuisls, a famous Bavarian executioner clan and I think that's what drew me to the book.

I read and listened to the first five fairly quickly, and then was forced to do some waiting for the next couple. Luckily, there were a few other Potzsch books to help fill the time.

Books (pleasure) - The Master's Apprentice  (Kindle and Audible) by Oliver Potzsch.

Books (work) - Inbound Content by Justin Champion. I also completed a Hubspot Academy certification course related to this book. Since we started the QAlert Insider blog at work last year, I've been getting more and more focused on marketing and developing supporting materials to help lead buyers through their journey to QAlert. After 15 years of as a software trainer, I'm finding it fascinating and refreshing.

Music -
Taylor Swift released her latest album, Folklore, July 23. It’s a little too mellow for me. I thought about why, and the answer was in this Amazon playlist. I threw a few other things in there from Selena Gomez, Lucy Hale, and Katie Perry (actual friends or not). In 2008, my daughter was nine and just starting to get into music. That was the year Swift released her second album, Fearless. We were all hooked.
