Neon Sign

Tonight, the neon sign is just neon. In bed with that outside our window, it's like using a multi-colored night light to illuminate the darkness enough avoid stubbing a toe, falling and breaking a hip, or tumbling down the stairs.

It's when the owner of the Bicycle Club has a special event - that makes that frigging sign unbearable. On those days, it flashes; sometimes one color, sometimes more than one. God forbid we fall asleep then wake up in the middle of the night.

You see that flashing through your eyelids. It makes you anxious. And sleep is no more.
